Welcome

This post was edited on August 15, 2011.

Hi, welcome to the Salka Wind Blog. If this is your first visit to the blog I recommend that you begin by reading the posts that fall within the category ‘Introduction’ as they are meant to provide a foundation for the material presented in the blog.  As some of the posts build upon concepts introduced in earlier posts you might also want to consider going through them in chronological order (skipping or skimming over any that don’t look interesting), the All Posts drop-down menu to the right of the posts makes this easy to do or you can work your way through all of the posts by clicking on the arrows located at the top of each post.  If that is too daunting you might want to read the posts that are in the category ‘*My Favorites’ (the categories are listed to the right on each page).

If you would like to have new posts automatically emailed to you please click on the ‘[Un]Subscribe to Posts’ link in the ‘Meta’ section. When it takes you to the next page click on the ‘profile’ link.

For more information about Salka Wind, the origin of my work, recommended readings, links to interesting sites, longer articles I have written, and so on, please explore the other pages on this site (accessible through the Menu along the top of the pages).

While my Salka Wind site has been up for several years this is my first blog, it may take me a while to figure out how to run the thing. If you have any suggestions or favorite features from other blogs that you would like me to incorporate into this blog please let me know.
